Yorkshire Mountaineering Hut, 3 Irish Row, Coppermines Valley, Coniston LA21 8HP

Go to the cross roads in the centre of Coniston and take the minor road north west of the Church Beck (stream).  This takes you on a rough road, following the stream on its north bank, until you can see a row of cottages on the rhs above the road.  Park on the lhs and carry your bags up the steep slope to the centre.  There is no parking at the centre and it is important to park as far off the road as you can because of the lorries going to the quarry.
