We shall be setting off at 10:00 Sunday 28 Sept from outside The Motte & Bailey PH, 1 Great Green, Pirton, Hitchin SG5 3QD, grid reference TL145315 on OS Explorer map 193 Luton & Stevenage. 

As we don't necessarily intend to use the pub, so please avoid the pub car park and park on Great Green. 

We shall be heading out along the the Icknield Way Path to the Pegsdon Hills with an opportunity of a refreshment stop. Please fetch lunch to enjoy up on a hill. Weather permitting, we should have stunning views but of course this will involve climbing some steep inclines!  If required, you have the option to take a short cut, otherwise the aim is to walk a circular route of approx 10 - 12 miles. Please feel free to bring a friend.
