Meet 10am at car park near Ivinghoe Beacon on the Beacon Road for a walk of around 9 miles through this most beautiful part of the Chilterns.

The car park is at grid ref 964 159 on OS Explorer Map 181.

We'll walk from the car park to the Beacon and hopefully have a clear day and good views.  We'll then head off along the Ridgeway over Pitstone Hill then turning off before Tring to head into Aldbury.  We'll then head up hill to the Bridgewater Monument and back along the track to the car park.

There will be the opportunity for a pub stop in Aldbury and/or café stop at the Monument.  If some are interested in making this a longer walk there are opportunities to add loops or extend further towards Tring.
